There is something to be admired as you watch a team of advocates, all part of the Rhythm family, book flights and travel plans from all across Europe, Indonesia and Australia to attend the highly-spoken Portuguese event Gliding Barnacles. Friendships and love shared for a lifestyle we all admire bringing everyone together for less than a week of festivities; of surfing, art, music, gastronomy and sustainability.

And, while most of us remained stationed at our desks watching stories posted from all of our friends, envious of the times shared beneath the Portuguese sun, to now scrolling folders of images of smiling faces and expressionism of all kinds, you can’t help but feel like no words are really needed to express the essence of such an event.
